Ser Jacopo: Smooth Dublin with Silver (L1) (A) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-171-4247

Ser Jacopo was founded in the 1980s by legendary pipe maker Giancarlo Guidi. The workshop cultivated their signature Pesaro style, which delights in dramatic flourishes and whimsical stylings, even more so than the already playful Italian tradition. Unfortunately, Guidi passed away in 2012, but Ser Jacopo carries on his legacy. Most of the bowl-centric designs we see from Ser Jacopo are gargantuan, weighty pipes — the Dublin presented here is an exception. The flared bowl sits at the fore of a pencil-thin shank that joins to an acrylic saddle stem, which further accentuates the trim profile. The lengthy shank-and-stem arrangement emphasizes the bowl while keeping the pipe lightweight. Additionally, the silver band, jet-black stem, and the stummel's chestnut smooth finish dress this pipe in a classic look.
