Ser Jacopo: Picta Magritte Sandblasted Freehand with Silver (S2) (C) (6) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-171-4300

The late Giancarlo Guidi was an avid art collector and enthusiast. So much of an enthusiast, in fact, that he created the Picta line — a series inspired by pipes featured in the works of major artists like van Gogh, Miro, and Magritte. This rather whimsical Hawkbill shape is sourced from a Magritte painting translated The Art of Living (1948) and features a stout, organic bowl with a floral, tulip-like rim. It's dressed in an earthy rustication, with the lightly stained nomenclature panel lending contrast and an intricately detailed silver band adding playful flash.
