Ser Jacopo: Smooth Billiard with Silver (L2) (A) Tobacco Pipe

Since its founding in 1982, Ser Jacopo has become one of the most recognizable and iconic pipe brands in all of Italy. Under the watchful stewardship of founder Giancarlo Guidi, the workshop developed a style that has since come to define the Pesaro shaping aesthetic. Each Ser Jacopo pipe is imbued with a whimsical sense of character that reflects the brand's creativity and playful spirit. This Billiard is a striking design, one sees a towering, upright bowl posed at the fore of a protracted, arrow-straight shank-and-stem arrangement. The bowl houses a healthy chamber within its muscular frame, and like many Italian briars, it garners most of the visual weight in profile, its firm posture and sheer height overshadowing the trim proportions of the shank and stem. A warm smooth finish dresses the stummel and highlights gorgeous grain across the briar's surface, while a sterling silver accent adorns the junction and ties the entire shape together with a dose of flash.
