Ser Jacopo: Albus et Niger Delecta Smooth Bent Apple with Silver (L) (B) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-171-4382
Since its founding in 1982, Ser Jacopo has become one of the most recognizable and iconic pipe brands in all of Italy. Under the watchful stewardship of founder Giancarlo Guidi, the workshop developed a style that has since come to define the Pesaro shaping aesthetic. Each Ser Jacopo pipe is imbued with a whimsical sense of character that reflects the brand's creativity and playful spirit. This Apple from Ser Jacopo boasts a plump, supple bowl that stands at the fore of an arrow-straight shank-and-stem arrangement. The bowl tapers from its full heel to its tauter rim, and as it does, it produces a low-set waistline that conforms naturally to the hand. The shank and stem keep the shape balanced and natural in profile, while imbuing the totality of the form with a certain sleekness. The inky Albus et Niger finish dresses the stummel, its dark complexion contrasted by a hardwood accent at the shank end and a sterling silver band at the stem base.
