Ser Jacopo: Sandblasted Bent Apple (S2) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-171-4387
Since its founding in 1982, Ser Jacopo has become one of the most recognizable and iconic pipe brands in all of Italy. Under the watchful stewardship of founder Giancarlo Guidi, the workshop developed a style that has since come to define the Pesaro shaping aesthetic. Each Ser Jacopo pipe is imbued with a whimsical sense of character that reflects the brand's creativity and playful spirit. Measuring less than five inches in total length, this bent Apple by Ser Jacopo is a compact design that sees a plump, full-bodied bowl posed at the fore a demurely curved shank-and-stem arrangement. In typical Italian neoclassical fashion, the bowl here holds most of the visual weight within the composition, its broad heel, stout build, and bulbous size overshadowing the gradually tapering shank and stem. Dressing this piece is a crisp sandblast that highlights tight growth rings across the bowl's flanks.
