Ser Jacopo: Pulchra Sandblasted Bent Apple with Silver (S2) (C) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-171-4397
Known for pioneering the Pesaro style of pipe making, Giancarlo Guidi founded Ser Jacopo in 1982. Since then, the Italian marque has made a name for itself with its fantastical, imaginative interpretations of classic pipe conventions. This bent Apple from Ser Jacopo showcases the marque's style within more modest proportions. The bowl stands pert and upright, with plump walls curving from the firm heel toward the flat rim to create a figure that fits snugly in the hand. A compact, upturned shank transitions from the bowl, adorned with a lavish silver fitment courtesy of Ser Jacopo's Pulchra series. Paired to the shank is an arcing saddle stem fashioned from swirling, coffee-hued acrylic, complete with a silver accent at its base. Dressing the stummel is a warm, earthy sandblast that showcases rippling growth rings around the bowl
