Ser Jacopo: La Fuma Smooth Bent Billiard Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-171-4400
Known for pioneering the Pesaro style of pipe making, Giancarlo Guidi founded Ser Jacopo in 1982. Since then, the Italian marque has made a name for itself with its fantastical, imaginative interpretations of classic pipe conventions. This bent Billiard from Ser Jacopo hews closer to traditional Anglo-French sensibilities with its balanced proportions. The bowl stands tall with an upright posture, formed by smooth, supple walls rising from the rounded heel and tapering slightly toward the flat rim. A sturdy, Foursquare-style shank lifts out of the transition from the bowl and pairs to an arcing saddle stem of jet-black acrylic, the arrangement's posture promoting comfortable jaw hanging. As part of Ser Jacopo's La Fuma series, this piece wears a warm, auburn stain that highlights gorgeous grain across the stummel.
