Ser Jacopo: Delecta Rusticated Apple with Silver (R1) (B) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-171-4417
Known for pioneering the Pesaro style of pipe making, Giancarlo Guidi founded Ser Jacopo in 1982. Since then, the Italian marque has made a name for itself with its fantastical, imaginative interpretations of classic pipe conventions. This Apple from Ser Jacopo is stocky, compact interpretation. A plump bowl stands at the fore of the composition with a subtle forward cant, its supple curves contouring well to the hand. A stout, muscular shank transitions from the bowl, the shank end punctuated with one of the marque's briar Delecta mounts as it joins to a saddle stem with a silver-accented base. Enveloping the stummel is a craggy, inky rustication, save for the briar Delecta mount, which is finished with a smooth, smoky stain.
