Ser Jacopo: Rusticated Bent Apple (R1) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-171-4421
Known for pioneering the Pesaro style of pipe making, Giancarlo Guidi founded Ser Jacopo in 1982. Since then, the Italian marque has made a name for itself with its fantastical, imaginative interpretations of classic pipe conventions. Packing a hefty physique within Nosewarmer dimensions, this bent Apple from Ser Jacopo is an especially stocky rendition. The bowl's rotund figure fills the hand easily, its thick, insulating walls curving from the broad heel toward the flat rim. A muscular shank lifts out of the transition from the bowl, pairing to a stout, tapered stem with a gentle downturn. Offering a wealth of texture for the hand to enjoy, the stummel wears a rugged, inky rustication, with the nomenclature panels finished in a light, smooth stain.
