Ser Jacopo: Picta Picasso Spongia Rusticated Hawkbill with Silver (R2) (C) (24) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-171-4428
The late Giancarlo Guidi, founder of Ser Jacopo, was an avid art collector and enthusiast. So much of an enthusiast, in fact, that he created the Picta line — a series inspired by pipes featured in the works of major artists like van Gogh, Miro, and Magritte. Inspired by Picasso's oeuvre, this Hawkbill boasts the form's traditional outline, which consists of a plump, Apple-like bowl posed at the fore of a demurely curved, aquiline-like shank-and-stem arrangement. The striking shape is dressed in the rugged Spongia rustication, and it's accented with a flashy band of sterling silver.
