Ser Jacopo: Picta Miro Smooth Bent Dublin with Silver (L2) (05) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-171-4435
The late Giancarlo Guidi, founder of Ser Jacopo, was an avid art collector and enthusiast. So much of an enthusiast, in fact, that he created the Picta line — a series inspired by pipes featured in the works of major artists like van Gogh, Miro, and Magritte. This Picta bent Dublin takes inspiration from Joan Miró's work. As a shape, it features a tall, forward-canted bowl that flares from its lifted heel to its broad, beadline-wrapped rim. Said bowl is paired to an oval shank and a demurely curved tapered stem, the latter of which promotes a comfortable smoking posture. A warm smooth finish dresses the stummel and highlights gorgeous grain across the briar's surface, while a sterling silver accent adorns the junction and ties the composition together with a dose of flash.
