An annually released limited edition series, Ser Jacopo's Domina line comprises a single shape across various finishes, with the shape itself varied every year. The line has become something of a tradition, with a new iteration having been produced each year since 1996, every one distinct from the ones that have preceded it. This 2015 edition, one of 333 select pieces, is characterized by a rim cap and shank accent of sterling silver, showcased elegantly across its forward-leaning, lithe, and graceful bent Apple silhouette. The bowl itself is plump and supple, with plenty of curvature across the walls to ensure a comfortable feel in hand, and it pairs to the shank and stem via a wide transition. Said shank and stem boast a compressed, ovoid shaping that keeps the silhouette of this piece gracile while offering a muscular style from the smoker's perspective. The bright sterling accents are contrasted by the stummel's rich, smoky sandblast, its crisp finish revealing handsome grain and rich texture throughout.
