Ser Jacopo: Niger Smooth Bent Dublin Sitter (L) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-171-4513
Since its founding in 1982, Ser Jacopo has become one of the most recognizable and iconic pipe brands in all of Italy. Under the watchful stewardship of founder Giancarlo Guidi, the workshop developed a style that has since come to define the Pesaro shaping aesthetic. Each Ser Jacopo pipe is imbued with a whimsical sense of character that reflects the brand's creativity and playful spirit. This bent Dublin Sitter by Ser Jacopo is actually what its title says it is: a bent Dublin with the capacity to sit confidently without the aid of a pipe stand. The shape's sturdy posture is enabled by its flat heel, which is angled almost in line with the transition. The heel's rearward orientation lends the bowl an active, forward-urging posture, accentuated by its steady upward flare. A thick shank and a steeply curved tapered stem bring up the pipe's rear and provide balance to the form, all while keeping things looking curvaceous in profile. Dressed in the Niger finish, the stummel offers a dark complexion that's complemented by the stem's own color.
