Ser Jacopo: Jucunda Sandblasted Bent Apple (S2) (B) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-171-4514
Since its founding in 1982, Ser Jacopo has become one of the most recognizable and iconic pipe brands in all of Italy. Under the watchful stewardship of founder Giancarlo Guidi, the workshop developed a style that has since come to define the Pesaro shaping aesthetic. Each Ser Jacopo pipe is imbued with a whimsical sense of character that reflects the brand's creativity and playful spirit. This bent Apple by Ser Jacopo boasts an eccentric silhouette that immediately captures the eye. This eccentricity is mostly due to the saddle stem, which ebbs from the shank it joins in a disjointed, stepped way. The rest of the composition is fairly traditional, comprising a plump, forward-canting bowl and a trim shank. Part of the Juncunda series, with "Juncunda" meaning "Delightful" in Latin, this piece is dressed in a ruddy sandblast that highlights rugged grain throughout the stummel.
