Ser Jacopo: Picta Van Gogh Sandblasted Dublin with Silver (S2) (C) (15) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-171-4526
Ser Jacopo's Picta line takes its inspiration from the workshop's late founder Giancarlo Guidi's appreciation for the arts and features pipes similar in shaping to those seen in the works of famous painters. This lengthy, forward-ebbing Dublin was inspired by Vincent van Gogh's Old Fisherman with Pipe and Coal Stove from 1883. The bowl is poised at the end of a streamlined stretch of elongated, continually tapering shank and stem with a bit of tasteful flash in the form of a trim accent ring gleaming at the shank end and another tracing along the rim. The stummel is wearing one of the Italian workshop's crisp sandblasts, revealing a lovely array of rippling grain cascading down the bowl.
