Ser Jacopo: Sandblasted Bent Egg Sitter (S2) (A) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-171-4556
Founded in 1982, Ser Jacopo is now one of the most influential and iconic pipe brands throughout Italy. Founded by Giancarlo Guidi, this workshop is responsible for creating Pesaro shaping and working with high-quality briar to create whimsical and flamboyant pieces that lean heavily into the classic Italian style. This bent Egg from Ser Jacopo is an ideal option for multitaskers, due to its sitting posture and capacious tobacco chamber. The flattened underside extends below the bowl, giving way to a lifted heel from which the walls expand then taper back inward to the flat rim. Nestled within the bowl is a tobacco chamber almost two inches deep, ensuring plenty of time for lengthy smoking sessions. From a subtly cheeked transition, a high-kicking shank begins that aft's bend as it meets a cumberland stem that slenderizes to the button. The rich hues of the mouthpiece complement the dark sandblasted finish along the stummel, which showcases handsome growth rings throughout.
