Ser Jacopo: Picta Van Gogh Sandblasted Bent Dublin with Silver (S2) (C) (3) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-171-4558
Founded in 1982, Ser Jacopo is now one of the most influential and iconic pipe brands throughout Italy. Founded by Giancarlo Guidi, this workshop is responsible for creating Pesaro shaping and working with high-quality briar to create whimsical and flamboyant pieces that lean heavily into the classic Italian style. This bent Dublin is a more reserved piece from Ser Jacopo, leaning closer to the shape-chart standard than some of the marque's other offerings. Up front, the walls of the bowl flare subtly from a curvaceous heel to a cap-like rim, bringing to mind the silhouette of a Calabash. A tightly-knit transition gives way to a high-kicking shank that meets the shoulders of the acrylic saddle stem by way of a silver-wrapped junction. The metallic accent pairs well to the sleek mouthpiece and the sandblasted stummel, which displays healthy growth rings throughout.
