Ser Jacopo: Gem Series Emerald Fiammata (Smeraldo) Smooth Poker (B) (Maxima Maxima) Tobacco Pipe

Ser Jacopo's Gem series is reserved for some of the finest briars the Pesaro workshop has to offer. Not only are these pipes immaculately shaped, but they also possess incredible grain. The line is distinguished by its grading system, which uses gemstones to denote the quality of each pipe, ascending in the following order: Smeraldo ("Emerald"), Granato ("Garnet"), Zaffiro ("Sapphire"), Rubino ("Ruby"), and Brillante ("Diamond"). This Poker boasts the line's Smeraldo grade, as evidenced by the color of gemstone in its stem. Stamped "Maxima" twice, this piece is an impressively large rendition of the classic form, offering over six inches of length and a bowl over two inches tall. Said bowl stands atop a flat, sure-sitting heel and grows thick, cylindrical walls that surround a capacious tobacco chamber. Out back, a vertically inclined, Oom Paul-like shank-and-stem arrangement supports the bowl and promotes a comfortable smoking posture. A smoky smooth finish completes the ensemble and highlights gorgeous flame grain across the bowl's flanks.
