About This Pipe
Lasse Skovgaard seems to have been trying out some new things lately; at the recent Chicago show we acquired a couple of Elephant's Foot designs bearing rounded forward faces and a particular emphasis on the ridges of their channeled flanks. And now, here, we find a bent Apple bearing both a well-defined ridge, and an emphasis on the roundness of either face it divides the bowl into. The result is an asymmetrical form that's very organic in style, and likewise very distinct from any other bent Apple we've had from this artisan before.
