Lasse Skovgaard: Smooth Brandy Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-327-0576
When it comes to the bent Brandy we've seen many from Lasse Skovgaard; when it comes to the straight Brandy we've seen few. The big difference in these shapes when it comes to Lasse's work isn't simply a matter of bend, but rather in the two being shaped in very different styles. While Lasse's bent Brandies as a rule are very "Lasse", with large, more rounded bowls and flourishes like sweeping curves at the rim, for the straight Brandies Lasse has typically rendered them as straight-up classics — Danish classics that is. Certainly it's the direction he went with here, with a briar streamlined through its taper of oval shank and stem, charmingly soft in the contours of its very low-waistlined bowl, and just ever-so-slightly lifting in its transition and in the line of the heel.
