Lasse Skovgaard: Smooth Bent Dublin Tobacco Pipe

Though making fine use of Lasse's signature sweeping linework, this bent Dublin also sports a good bit of subtle, yet lively gesture, with the light impression of rearward-flicking at the rim's aft and top of the half-saddle stem. The two cues seem to echo one another, balanced by a downward slope to the rim's fore, which serves to lead the eye to an almost Ivarsson-esque use of line initiated on the shank's left ridge, the likes of which continue through to the bowl to become one with the rim. It's a feature that renders the pipe asymmetrical, yet also allows it to sit with a fair bit of stability. A stellar piece here.
