Lasse Skovgaard: Smooth Bent Dublin Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-327-0597
This Dublin shouts Danish heritage. Reminiscent of designs from the 70s, it provides modern aesthetics with a slender shank of reduced proportions, with the visual weight of the piece thrown forward to the bowl thanks to the saddle stem and low-slung transition to the shank. the top is completely populated by plateau in a black stain, except for a chamfered inner rim, which is the same walnut stain as the stummel. But let's talk about grain for a moment. This contrast stain highlights some spectacular vertical and flame grain, ranging from tight angel hair to wider pathways of light-and-dark striations, all nicely aimed at the heel, where it all comes together with birdseye. A modern pedigree with historic elements, this piece has it all.
