the sandblast of this Skovgaard Rhodesian is shallow, but offers plenty of tactile feedback. The waistline of the bowl is high and lacks bead lines, staying consistent to the easy curves that unify the design. The saddle bit reduces the visual weight of the stem, throwing the eye's concentration forward to the bowl. A wide shank, flaring toward the bowl, offers more curves when looking at it from above. Easy to hold, well balanced, comfortable and elegant, the pipe's color palette is one of earth tones, warm and rich.
