A signature shape for Lasse Skovgaard, this Acorn features a pendulous bowl emerging from the familiar Acorn transition, rising in tapered elegance to the well-rounded rim. That rim contains a veritable wealth of birdseye, transforming to vertical grain as it drifts over the edge of the rim, all contrast stained for beautiful illumination of the natural striations. The shank expands as it leaves the transition in an upward curve that is continued by the stem, which expands slightly at its end before dwindling to the flat saddle configuration leading to the lip button. Lithe and organic, expertly shaped and a pleasure to view from any angle, this is a pipe that will elevate your collection.
