With sweeping curves and an organic aesthetic, this Lasse Skovgaard Acorn offers fabulous grain, comfort, and elegance in an irresistible configuration. A low-slung and well-defined transition leads into a slightly curved shank and finally into the elegantly bent saddle stem. Parallel lines of grain extend completely around the bowl with nice plateau partially smoothed on the curved rim while the light honey stain splendidly highlights the grain, as well. The shank is narrower when viewed from above than it appears in profile, and expands as it reaches the base of the mouthpiece, which offers additional visual interest with a brief expansion disc before reducing to its saddle configuration, all combining to fit the hand with excellent balance and confidence.
