Lasse Skovgaard: Smooth Bent Dublin Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-327-0780

Son of artisan Benni Jørgensen, Lasse Skovgaard has carved pipes since 2004, earning a loyal following for his skill in rendering sleek, flowing forms. Quite Danish in style, many of Skovgaard's pipes are replete with an organic mix of curves and ridges, and are often quite balanced in composition. This bent Dublin is one such piece, albeit a touch more focused on the bowl. Reminiscent of a Horn with its seamless transition, the design flares wide at the bowl, which displays a domed, convex rim. A single ridgeline runs down the bowl's tapering walls, through the shank, adding a touch of structure to the composition. Out back, a bent vulcanite saddle stem offers a comfortable smoking posture, as well as a dash of sleekness. Dressed in a rich walnut finish, the stummel boasts stunning birdseye around the bowl, interspersed with tight cross grain.
