Lasse Skovgaard: Sandblasted Bent Brandy with Horn Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-327-0800

The son of pipe carver Benni Jørgenson, Lasse Skovgaard is an accomplished artisan, proficient in the shaping style of his native Denmark. Beginning in his father's studio, Skovgaard went on to work in the esteemed W.Ø. Larsen workshop, and now works independently, creating fine pipes that have proven popular among discerning smokers for decades. This bent Brandy is a particularly organic rendition of the classic shape, featuring a tall, tapered bowl with a plump midriff and lifted heel, providing a comfortably presence in hand. Said bowl rests with a slight forward cant at the fore of a cheeked transition to an especially sleek round shank that curls up to meet a flaring accent of dark horn, joined to a comfortably bent vulcanite stem. The silhouette is sleek and refined, focused on the pert bowl. Dressed in an eminently crisp, black sandblast, the stummel boasts excellent ring grain around the bowl, with a smooth inner rim adding a touch of elegant contrast.
