Lasse Skovgaard, son of renowned Danish artisan Benni Jørgensen, began his pipe-making journey at just 16, honing his skills at the W.Ø. Larsen workshop. By age 19, he was crafting the workshop's prestigious Straight Grain pipes. With the encouragement of family friend Teddy Kundsen, Skovgaard debuted his own creations at the 2004 Chicago International Pipe Show, marking the start of his solo career.
