A smoker of substance, this chubby Rhodesian from Suhr pipes is a robust, compact number, packing a good bit of chamber surrounded by dense supporting walls. Johannes has foregone the characteristic beadline of the form here, supplanting it instead with a somewhat soft ridge about the equator. He's accented the shank with an adornment of gorgeous mammoth bone, juxtaposed with a streamlined saddle stem. Lovely work here.
