Tsuge: Ichirin Sandblasted Bamboo Dublin
Product Number: 002-099-6938
Ichirin — "One Wheel" or, more appropriate in this context, "One Flower" — is the name Tsuge decided to give their briar rendition of the traditional Japanese Kiseru. Appropriately they've decided to use a long stretch bamboo to separate bowl and stem, as the most common kind of Kiseru, the Joshin, uses three parts as well: a brass bowl and shank, bamboo or wood stem, and a brass mouthpiece. Tsuge have swapped out the brass for briar and vulcanite, but the look and feel are retained: a single flower, resting gently on a long stem of bamboo.- Jeffery Sitts
