Tsuge: Shiki Aki Dark Smooth

Product Number: 002-099-7556

Tsuge's Shiki line, named after the four seasons in Japanese, offers four shapes with each one corresponding to a different season. Aki means "fall" and is here represented by a plump, gestural bent Egg rendered in pocket-friendly proportions but imbued with a capacious tobacco chamber. It's a smoothly sweeping rendition with the bowl's supple flanks subtly tapering toward the rim while the shank and stem flow elegantly behind. It's finished here in a warm, chestnut stain that highlights a wealth of stunning grain around the bowl.
