Tsuge's "553" Cherrywood is nice to look at, yes, but what has impressed me most about these, and the other Tokyo series designs, is that they are consistently well-balanced sitters. How many times have I seen a broad-bottomed sitter that only sat by falling back to rest on its stem? Too many. But these Tsuges I've found to perch perfectly as a rule, despite their lean and daring design.
