Aptly named, Tsuge's Cat's Eyes series is comprised of shapes featuring lenticular shanks that resemble cat's eyes with this "607" bent Egg from the Japanese workshop being one such piece. The plump bowl's forward cant is balanced by the downturned saddle stem while the shank's crisp ridgelines help accentuate the bowl's lifted heel and plump disposition. Its compact proportions make it ideal for pocket carry while still offering a respectably deep chamber and is finished in a light-depth sandblast that maintains the bowl's defined curves. The stummel's dark stain draws focus to the warm, amber-hued acrylic accent that adorns the shank face and offers some tasteful contrast.
