Tsuge: Tokyo Sandblasted Bent Egg Sitter with Bamboo (551)
Product Number: 002-099-8024
This "551" bent Egg Sitter from Tsuge is part of the Japanese workshop's Tokyo series and boasts some fine shaping and pleasing proportions in addition to a dynamic profile. The bowl is strongly canted, while the shank and stem curl upward for a graceful counterbalance. This handsome piece is further commended by a pale knuckle of bamboo, lengthening the shank and contrasting the dark sandblast, while lightening the overall color palette. The gently downturned mouthpiece promotes a comfortable, hands-free smoking posture, with the bowl's deep chamber promising lengthy smoking sessions.-Angela Robertson
