Tsuge: The Roulette Sandblasted Black Tankard Tobacco Pipe

Tsuge's The Roulette series comprises a singular Tankard shape in a variety of different sizes and finishes, with this particular example being quite a compact rendition of the profile. In addition, this line features some handsome, oftentimes Art Deco inspired styling that sees this pipe paired to a metal-wrapped base which has received some subtle texture, and a flared metal military mount whose end is also textured. Though it's a fairly small pipe, the bowl here is quite tall and provides ample surface to appreciate the Japanese marque's black sandblast, with the metal fitments colored black as well to match.
