Tsuge: 80th Anniversary Sandblasted Rhodesian Reverse Calabash No. 33 (2016) (9mm) Tobacco Pipe

Tsuge celebrated their 80th anniversary in 2016 with the release of this oversized bent Rhodesian in a departure from the Japanese marque's typically sleek and sinuous designs. This hefty pipe approaches magnum proportions with its palm-filling bowl capped with a broad metal accent that caps the Rhodesian's signature rim and taper. The bottom half of the bowl tapers downward through a soft heel that sweeps back up to a muscular round shank adorned with another riveted accent band. The stout acrylic stem on this pipe is slightly bent to accommodate comfortable smoking postures. Dressed in one of Tsuge's well-regarded crisp black sandblasts, this pipe is a fine commemoration of the Japanese marque's long history of fine pipe craft.
