Tsuge: Kaga Sandblasted (901) (9mm) Tobacco Pipe

Tsuge's "901" is a bent Brandy with the heart of a Tomato and a gentle forward momentum that exemplifies its curves, especially at the lower portion of the bowl. Here we see the broad base and low-set waistline that the Brandy is known for, though with some extra plumpness about it and a gentle taper to the rim which favors the fore, lending the pipe a sense of soft momentum. The shank is slightly pinched at the transition, and this is owed to its rather striking flare to the end, matching the expansion ring at the base of the 9mm-drilled, slightly downturned stem. A dark sandblast dresses the stummel here, revealing some handsome grain and matching the jet-black stem for an understated, refined aesthetic.
