Tsuge: Metal Bamboo Sandblasted (301) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-099-10087

Japanese marque Tsuge was founded in 1936 by Kyoichiro Tsuge, carving mainly ivory cigarette holders. After World War II, Kyoichiro transitioned to pipe making, growing the brand into the largest pipe company in all of Japan. The Metal Bamboo series is a unique line from the Japanese marque, pairing classic shapes to shank end adornments made from metal, appropriately in the shape of bamboo. This single faux knuckle of the dense grass punctuates the junction, adding a firm expansion to what would otherwise be a consistent taper from the transition to the button, something maintained across all of the shapes that comprise the line. Each member of this series comes dressed in a jet-black sandblast that starkly contrasts against the vibrant, brass hue of the metal adornment, with this pipe being the marque's "301" Billiard.
