The Thunderstorm series from Japanese marque Tsuge is quite an interesting one, comprising a single Tankard shape that's been paired with a sliding metal bowl cover that can act as a windscreen, shielding your tobacco from the elements. It features a strong Art Deco aesthetic and a metal military mount, allowing for the pipe to be broken down even when hot, doubling down on its practical nature. Here, all of the metal has been finished in a silvery sheen, contrasting the inky black stain of the briar.
