Tsuge: Spider Smooth Tumbler Tobacco Pipe

Tsuge is Japan's premier pipe manufacturer, with a variety of offerings to suit any taste, from crisp traditional shapes, to expressive designs fusing Danish and Japanese aesthetics, to utilitarian pieces like this one. Part of Tsuge's Spider line, this pipe can be completely disassembled, with a removable shank and military-mounted stem, for easy transport. What really sets the series apart, however, is its heel cap engraved with a sleek spider design: The heel can be unscrewed from the underside and fitted to the metallic rim guard, allowing a packed bowl to be saved for later without spilling tobacco. This smooth Tumbler example is a bold Poker rendition with a cylindrical briar bowl encased within the metal base.
