Vauen: Oskar (3) (9mm)
Product Number: 002-457-4536
Vauen's Oskar series pays homage to the avant-garde works that came out of the Bauhaus art school, particularly the Triadic Ballet conceived by Oskar Schlemmer in 1912. It was the artist's most famous work and toured for eight years, helping to spread the ethos of the Bauhaus. The Triadic Ballet involved costumed actors who were transformed into geometric representations of the human body, emphasizing form and color. Designed in collaboration with Markus Bruckner, Vauen's tribute here pairs a plump, sandblasted bowl, to a colorful green shank and a jet-black acrylic stem. It may possibly be the perfect choice for pipe smokers who are also fans of avant-garde artistic dance.- Jeffery Sitts
