Vauen's "761" bent Brandy design is a robustly proportioned interpretation and provides a substantial presence in hand. It's presented here as part of the German firm's Lime series, a line featuring stummels fashioned from sandblasted oak. The wood's growth rings are illuminated by a light stain, calling to mind the appearance of limestone and resulting in a pipe that's utterly unique. The chamber is notably lined with meerschaum, a medium renown for its flavor-neutral smoking properties and heat resistance.
