A bent paneled Billiard, this "06" from Vauen offers personality in classic proportions. A bulbous heel gives rise to a bowl that gradually transforms to a six-sided paneled design for extra tactile and visual interest. It's wearing the bright contrast stain of the Kira line, presented here in a sandblasted finish to put the briar's growth rings on full display.
The word kira means "ray of sunshine" in Sanskrit, and that is exactly what is reflected in the high contrast stain of Vauen's Kira line. The German marque deliberately chose two very different black and yellow colors for the finish, an approach intended to bring out striations of grain with the brilliance of rays of light. A brushed ring of bronze and silver hues adorns the shank end, further elevating the piece and completing a bright, shining aesthetic.
