Vauen: Kira Sandblasted (537) (9mm) Tobacco Pipe

A bent Apple from Vauen, this "37" offers the contrast stain of the Kira line in a stimulating, sandblasted finish. A plump bowl sits well in hand, while textured grain patterns provide plenty of tactile stimulation. A pipe-chart standard, this Apple is yet touching the exotic through its brilliant finish and is further assisted in that effort by a bright three-piece metal band.

The word kira means "ray of sunshine" in Sanskrit, and that is exactly what is reflected in the high contrast stain of Vauen's Kira line. The German marque deliberately chose two very different black and yellow colors for the finish, an approach intended to bring out striations of grain with the brilliance of rays of light. A brushed ring of bronze and silver hues adorns the shank end, further elevating the piece and completing a bright, shining aesthetic.
