Paired to an elegant saddle stem, Vauen's "86" straight Billiard is a modern classic with all the traditional appeal of the chart standards of days past. The bowl is proud, tall, and married to a gently tapering stretch of shank that ends in a band of metal which has been intricately carved, seemingly in a tribute to the regal livery of the old Anglo-French marques. The stummel is dressed in a warm auburn stain, revealing a handsome grain structure underneath, its hues contrasted by the black stem and flash of the metal fitment, all offered by the German icon's Quentin finish.
