A svelte, gestural example of the shape, this "108" Rhodesian from German marque Vauen pairs a plump, hearty bowl with a lithe stretch of shank and stem for a look that is nothing short of graceful. There's a palpable softness present here, especially considering the easy flow of line as the shank and stem ebb forth from the transition. Dual beadlines adorn the bowl's high waistline, marking a gradual taper to the chamfered rim and the entirety of its relatively hearty mass sits atop a sweeping, almost lifted, heel.
