This "505" Rhodesian from Vauen trades the traditionally muscular, robust proportions associated with the shape for a sleeker, more streamlined design. The bulbous bowl features twin beadlines that demarcate the tapered rim from the rest of the stummel, with the innermost part of the rim chamfered for the easy loading of a preferred blend. The lengthy, arrow-straight shank-and-stem arrangement extends from the low-slung transition and provides a subtle sense of balance out back. Dressed in a shadowy, low-profile sandblast that's perfectly complemented by the tapered acrylic mouthpiece, this piece offers plenty of elegant charm in a refined package.
