Vauen: Castor (108) (9mm) Tobacco Pipe

Vauen's "108" design is a gracefully bent, gestural Rhodesian with the form's characteristic beadlines wrapping around the upper bowl, just beneath the subtly tapered and neatly chamfered rim. The bowl displays a strong degree of forward-urging momentum, but is nicely balanced by the shank-and-stem combination's sinuous S-curve. It's presented here as part of the Castor series, the stummel dressed in a dark, glossy contrast stain while the shank end displays some beautifully intricate accent work. Two briar bands are positioned between three bright aluminum rings before leading to the softly downturned, tapered stem.
