Vauen: Burgund (1615) (9mm) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-457-6163

Vauen's Burgund line was created as a celebration of wine and the culture surrounding its production, with the name coming from the German word for the Burgundy region of what's now east-central France. This series comprises pipes dressed in a smoky walnut stain and matte finish, making for a smooth and silky feel in hand, and paired with broad accents of marbled cork at the junction that call to mind those used in wine bottles. This "1615" is a sinuous and deeply bent Apple that presents with a gracefully acrobatic stretch of shank and stem, the combination poised for comfortable smoking and easy clenching. This duo ebbs out of a tightly-knit transition that still leaves plenty of room to drape a digit, paired to a robust bowl. Said bowl is plump and supple, with a firm, low-set waistline that expands out of a pronounced underside and heel, taking on an arcing, Brandy-like taper to the rim that lends this piece a unique, handsome silhouette.
