Vauen: Excelsior (147) (9mm) Tobacco Pipe

This Cherrywood from Vauen isn't a sitter, but there's so much more to admire about the unique piece, including a bit of forward cant and slightly pinched waistline. Sinuously bent, with the muscular shank-and-stem arrangement curling upward in a nearly vertical arc, this pipe is part of the German marque's Excelsior series and is dressed in a glossy, dark chocolate stain. The shank end is adorned with a weaving, intricate design in which the German marque's name is written, and the rim is lightly stained and polished, resulting in a fine-looking, elegant pipe.
